NarcLab Resources
Server-authoritative Wood and Stone spawning for Valheim without full devcommands or admin access.
About this mod Author’s original text
NarcLab Resources
NarcLab Resources provides restricted, server-authoritative spawning of
vanilla Wood and Stone for Valheim.
Supported and qualified runtime: Valheim 1.0.7 / Deep North.
What It Does
The mod allows only these commands:
spawn wood
spawn stone
Amounts must be from 1 through 1000. For example:
spawn wood 500
spawn stone 250
The dedicated server validates every request. No full devcommands or Valheim
administrator privilege is required for a player to request Wood or Stone.
Installation
Dedicated Server
Install NarcLab Resources on the dedicated server through,
r2modman, or the normal BepInEx plugin mechanism.
Modded Player
Players who want to run the NarcLab Resources commands must install the same
package through or r2modman.
Unmodded Player
Players without this client mod can still join a server that runs NarcLab
Resources. They cannot use the NarcLab Resources commands, but they can see
and pick up the normal vanilla Wood and Stone drops created by modded players.
Usage
Open the F5 console. Do not enter devcommands.
spawn wood
spawn stone
Commands may be repeated.
Restrictions
- Only canonical vanilla Wood and Stone are allowed.
- The maximum request is 1000 items.
- Arbitrary prefabs, weapons, armor, creatures, and other resources are not
available through this mod.
Command Collision
While NarcLab Resources is loaded, it replaces/intercepts Valheim's spawn
console command and restricts it to Wood and Stone. Vanilla unrestricted
spawn is not available through that command while this mod is loaded.
It may be incompatible with mods that also replace or substantially modify the
same console command. Compatibility with Server Devcommands is not claimed.
Security Design
- Server-authoritative validation.
- No full devcommands.
- No Valheim administrator privilege required.
- No arbitrary prefab spawning.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
