Mushoku Tensei Core - Magic, Swordplay, Toki and Magic Eyes

Magic, swordplay, Toki, Magic Eyes and the Mk-I Magic Armor for Valheim, inspired by Mushoku Tensei. You start at zero, no classes.

What you get

  • 77 spells in 9 magic schools.
  • 7 weapon paths with their own arts: sword (3 styles), spear, mace, axe, knives, atgeir and bow.
  • Universal arts: Agonizing Roar, Third Eye and the swordsman utilities.
  • Toki levels 1–10 with an active Mantle, 3 Magic Eyes and the Mk-I Magic Armor.
  • MT HUD: own interface with a skill bar 1–8.

Controls – how to play

  • 1–8: use the 8 skills of your active group.
  • Alt + 1–8: use your Valheim hotbar items (an empty skill slot also uses its item).
  • P: skill groups window – drag a skill into a slot, between slots to move or swap, outside to remove. Up to 10 groups per weapon, magic and bow.
  • Q: skill wheel. Q + mouse wheel: switch group.
  • Left click (staff/wand): cast – tap to cast, hold to charge, release to fire.
  • B: Toki Mantle. F: Toki Step (needs the mantle or Mk-I). Z: Valheim Forsaken power.
  • Mouse side buttons: skill slots 1 and 2.
  • Levitate: cast it to take off; you land by touching the ground or water, or by casting it again.
  • V: Far Sight. H: meditate. K: grimoire. J: journal. F8: sword techniques.
  • Removed: Alt + 1–9 shortcuts, Alt + Q favorites, F1 mantle.
  • Change any key in BepInEx/config/mushokutensei.core.cfg (section 0. Teclas) or live with mt_cfg (F5 console).

HUD size: mt_cfg set Escala 1.1 (bottom) · mt_cfg set EscalaBarra 0.8 (top bar). Valheim's own HUD stays by default. To hide the MT HUD completely (only Valheim's HUD), set MostrarHud = false in mushokutensei.hud.cfg or type mt_cfg set MostrarHud false; skills still work with 1–8, Q and P.

Installation

  • Install BepInExPack for Valheim and Jotunn.
  • Install with r2modman Mod Manager.
  • In multiplayer, all players must run the same version.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
