ModTree
A full-screen progression tree for your whole modpack. Open it with the Progression Tree button above the inventory.
What it shows
- Branches (columns): Weapons, Magic, Armor, Capes, Trinkets, Food and Potions — from the base game and from every mod that
adds items. Recipes are read from the game itself, so newly installed mods show up automatically.
- Stations (nodes): Workbench, Forge, Black Forge, modded crafting tables, cauldron, fermenter, cooking
stations and so on, ordered by era (based on the materials needed to build the station). Each branch ends with
Other sources: items that have no recipe (drops, traders). Bombs and staffs made at alchemy or magic
tables are listed under Potions / Magic rather than Weapons.
- Every station shows a discovered / total counter; completed stations turn green.
Station list
Click a node, or pick a station from the station search list in the bottom-left corner — the map jumps to it and highlights it.
The panel on the right lists the station's items in two collapsible groups: Discovered and Undiscovered.
- Items are sorted from weakest to strongest: first by era (from the materials), then armor before shields,
then by stats (damage, armor, block, food values). Sets stay together (helmet, chest, legs, pauldrons),
including sets without a set bonus such as vanilla Iron.
- Refinement Forge upgrade materials (protection idols) are not listed as crafting ingredients.
- The name and recipe are always visible, even without the materials. Ingredients you have not found yet
are shown in red.
- An item is fully discovered once you know every ingredient. Only then are its icon and stats shown;
before that the icon is hidden behind a "?" and the stats are hidden.
Drag the map with the mouse or use the scrollbars (drag the handle or click the track); the mouse wheel
scrolls up and down smoothly (Shift + wheel: sideways). While the tree is open the game world is not rendered,
which keeps the window smooth (config: Wydajnosc / Ukryj swiat przy otwartym drzewku).
Esc or Tab closes the tree. The mod only reads game data and changes nothing, so it does not conflict with other mods.
Requirements
- BepInExPack_Valheim 5.4.2351
- Jotunn 2.30.2
- Client-side. Safe to install on a server (it does nothing there).
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
