Lineajes Race

Do you want to play as an Orc, Elf, Draenei, Dwarf, Tauren, Eternal, Werewolf, or another race? With this mod, you can.

Lineajes Race adds a system of playable lineages with their own appearances, stats, status effects, abilities, and mechanics. The mod is still being constantly tested on our Discord servers, so some values may continue to change.

The stats and bonuses were initially balanced for our server environment. Any feedback, bug reports, or balance suggestions are welcome.

For now, Tiefling, Draenei, Abyssal Myrmidon, Dark Forest Elf, Mystical Night Elf,Troll and Draugr mainly keep their base racial traits.

Main Features

Race Selection

The mod includes a race selection interface. It is no longer necessary to choose a lineage by directly consuming a racial potion.

You can choose your race in two ways:

• From the Lineage Mirror.
• Directly from the character creation panel.

Races are organized into three groups:

• Valheim Natives
• Adapted
• Other Worlds

Current Lineage Mirror Controls

• Interact with the Lineage Mirror.
• To scroll through the list, hold the left mouse button and drag up or down.
• Select the race you want to use.
• Confirm your choice.

Permanent Races

The selected race becomes linked to the character and remains active even after death.

A regular player cannot freely remove their race. The idea is to prevent constant lineage switching and make the choice more meaningful on the server.

A race can only be removed in one of these ways:

• Through a command used by an administrator.
• With the Lineage Reset Bottle.

Personal Boss Progression

Personal progression follows this order:

Eikthyr → The Elder → Bonemass → Moder → Yagluth → The Queen → Fader

When a boss is defeated near the player, the progress is recorded for their lineage.

Depending on the race, each victory can:

• Unlock an ability.
• Improve its power.
• Increase its duration.
• Reduce its cooldown.
• Grant new permanent bonuses.

Not every lineage has an active ability or special boss progression yet.

For now, Tiefling, Draenei, Abyssal Myrmidon, Dark Forest Elf, Mystical Night Elf,Troll and Draugr mainly keep their base racial traits.

Lineage Reset Bottle

The Lineage Reset Bottle allows you to abandon your current race and choose a new lineage again.

Under normal conditions, the bottle must be in the player's inventory before a new selection can be made.

By default, an administrator can obtain it with:

spawn LNE_Botlereset 1

The configuration can also define:

• Whether the bottle can be crafted.
• Its materials and requirements.
• Whether Haldor can sell it.

Server Race Control

Administrators can enable or disable races individually through the Azathoth.LinejaeserasRace.cfg file.

A disabled race will not appear in the selection interfaces.

This allows the mod to be adapted to the lore, progression, balance, or rules of each server.

Passive effects and abilities can also be enabled, disabled, or hidden depending on the available configuration.

Configuration and Customization

A large part of the mod can be modified through Azathoth.LinejaeserasRace.cfg or by using a compatible manager such as Configuration Manager.

Among other values, you can configure:

• Stats and attributes for each race.
• Status effects and bonuses.
• Racial abilities and passive effects.
• Duration, chance, and cooldown of certain abilities.
• Available or disabled races.
• Spirit damage received by players.
• Behavior, crafting recipe, and sale options for the Lineage Reset Bottle.

After changing important configuration values, it is recommended to restart the game or server.

The mod is still being tested and the balance may continue to change.
