Kraken QOL
A Valheim modpack for less inventory management, easier farming and smoother multiplayer adventures.

BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2351 and Jotunn 2.30.2 are also declared as dependencies. A compatible mod manager installs dependencies automatically.
The new UI mods also bring their declared support libraries, including ConditionalConfigSync, YamlDotNet and JsonDotNET, through the mod manager.
Install
- Select Valheim Mod Manager or r2modman.
- Create a fresh profile and install Kraken QOL with its dependencies.
- Launch using Start modded. The mods generate their default configuration files on first launch.
This release includes no custom configuration overrides. Use the same pack and mod versions across your group.
Press F1 to configure mods through ConfigurationManager. Use only one ConfigurationManager implementation in your profile.
For ValheimScalability, start with Adaptive mode and compare performance in the same location against Off. Performance gains depend on rendering load and hardware; the pack does not apply a custom performance preset.
Multiplayer and server setup
Installing the pack on a player's PC does not install it on a dedicated server.
- MultiUserChest must be installed on the server and every client, with matching versions. Include its BepInEx and Jotunn dependencies.
- AzuExtendedPlayerInventory documents server installation and configuration syncing; its server version check requires clients to have the mod.
- Install SwmarlyValheimNetworking and its bundled dependencies on the dedicated server for its server features. Its author lists SmoothServer, ValheimTune, FiresGhettoNetworking, BetterNetworking, ServerSideMap and Serverside Simulations as overlapping mods to remove before enabling it.
- Server devcommands is for administrators. Install it on the admin client and on the server for full functionality. Add authorized administrator IDs to the server's adminlist.txt.
- MassFarming is listed as client-side. Follow each linked mod's instructions when building a dedicated-server installation; this package is not a separate server-only preset.
- ValheimScalability is client-side; dedicated servers do not need its rendering system.
Release notes and compatibility
Versions were checked against on 2 October 2026. AzuCraftyBoxes and AzuExtendedPlayerInventory are marked deprecated. They are included intentionally as part of this pack's original mod selection.
The package structure and dependency metadata have been checked, but this exact combination has not been tested in-game. SwmarlyValheimNetworking 0.1.23 lists Valheim 1.0.7 / network version 39 as its target build. Check your game and server versions before deployment.
Quick Stack documents integration with MultiUserChest and AzuExtendedPlayerInventory. This is not a guarantee that every interaction in this pack has been tested.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
