\# JSB Valheim Spawn Customizer

A lightweight, high-performance runtime configuration utility for Valheim built on BepInEx and Jotunn. This mod dynamically scans every creature spawner profile at startup—including monsters injected by other custom mods—and exposes 6 distinct ecosystem sliders for total environment authority.

\## Features \& Configuration Values

\- \\SpawnChance\\: Adjust the raw mathematical probability percentage (0 to 100) of an enemy spawning during standard area checks.

\- \\MaxSpawned\\: Set strict population caps per creature type within the active zone to mitigate overcrowding or build high-density sectors.

\- \\GroupSizeMin \& GroupSizeMax\\: Dictate community pack behaviors. Force creatures to spawn strictly as lone wolves or coordinate massive tactical enemy waves.

\- \\LevelUpChance\\: Dictate custom rules for star progression mechanics (Set to 0 for an absolute vanilla challenge, or increase to create an unforgiving landscape saturated with 1 and 2-star variants).

\- \\SpawnTime\\: Restrict enemy movement behaviors to specific times of day. Acceptable inputs: Day, Night, or Both.

\- \\SpawnBiomes\\: A comma-separated string mapping exactly where creatures are permitted to manifest. Valid baseline options: Meadows, BlackForest, Swamp, Mountain, Plains, Ocean, AshLands, DeepNorth, Mistlands.

\## How To Configure

1\. Drop the compiled plugin into your profile.

2\. Launch Valheim and completely load into your world save once to populate the runtime map registry.

3\. Access the parameters cleanly via the \\ Mod Manager Config Editor\\ or manually edit the file generated under BepInEx/config/com.jacob.valheimspawncustomizer.cfg.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
