About this mod Author’s original text
ItemIntegrity.ServerOnly
Server-only world cleaner for Valheim. No client installation is required.
This binary package contains ItemIntegrity.ServerOnly 0.2.0-preview.1, package version 0.2.0. It is an independent implementation, not
an official Ageous27-NoCheatItems release.
Preview limitations: This build does not scan or remove items in a player's
carried/equipped inventory on joining. Container and stand removal is deferred
until every player has disconnected. Dry-run is enabled by default.
What it cleans
| Location | Behavior |
| --- | --- |
| Ground drops | Scans serialized server world records, including records without a locally instantiated Unity object. When deletion is enabled, backs up matches, requests native network destruction, and checks server-record disappearance. |
| Chests, carts, ships, and tombstones | Scans native container inventories. Removal waits until the server has been empty for at least 15 seconds, with additional stable-record checks for serialized edits. |
| Item and armor stands | Checks attached item flags and prohibited prefab names. Removes the attachment, not the stand, during the same empty-server maintenance window. |
Default detection covers the native cheated-item flag and the debug prefabs
SwordCheat and SledgeCheat. Additional exact prefab names can be configured.
An extra-prefab rule also matches legitimate copies of the named item.
What it does not do
It does not clean a player's bag on connection, force players to drop their
inventory, kill or disconnect them to expose inventory, or require a client mod.
It does not edit offline character saves or unloaded save chunks, undo character
achievement/cheat status, or remove overstacked/over-quality items. Unknown custom
storage and unsupported or malformed serialized data are skipped. It is not a
complete anti-cheat or inventory-import prevention system.
Install
Install on the dedicated server only. Back up the world and use a test copy
before enabling actual removal. Do not run this cleaner alongside the original
NoCheatItems or the earlier client-required ItemIntegrity.
- Ensure BepInExPack Valheim is installed on the server. The manifest declares
denikson-BepInExPack_Valheim-5.4.2350.
- Stop the server and disable the previous cleaner through its mod manager so it
is not automatically restored. Keep old cleaner DLLs outside the entire active
BepInEx/plugins tree.
- For a manager that supports local ZIP packages, import this ZIP
into the server installation. For manual installation, copy
ItemIntegrity.ServerOnly.dll into BepInEx/plugins/ItemIntegrity.ServerOnly.
- Start the server to generate
BepInEx/config/local.valheim.itemintegrity.serveronly.cfg.
No existing configuration is included or overwritten by this package. The plugin
uses a new config identity and does not import ageous27.nocheatitems.cfg.

DryRun = true logs matches without removing them. After validating detection
on backed-up test data, stop the server and change the generated configuration:
[General]
Enabled = true
DryRun = false
Restart the server. Container and stand removal still requires all players to
leave; the 15-second grace is a minimum, not a promise of removal at exactly 15
seconds. Sweep length, stable observations, and edit limits can add delay. Keep
ExtraPrefabNames empty for native cheated-flag detection; listing Wood would
also prohibit legitimate Wood.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
