HarpoonLooter
A buildable ballista that harpoons dropped items on the ground and reels them into a convenient pile at its base - no more scouring the battlefield for gear.

Harpoon Looter
Adds a new build piece, the Harpoon Looter — a small ballista that automatically harpoons dropped items lying on the ground within range and reels them into a pile at its base.
No more chasing loot across the battlefield — build one near where you fight and everything gets dragged home and dumped at its feet to grab or stack.
A Valheim BepInEx 5 plugin built on Jotunn.
Features
- New build piece: Harpoon Looter (Hammer > Furniture), crafted from 10x Fine Wood and 5x Iron.
- Scans for dropped ItemDrops within range (default 20 m) and fires a harpoon at them.
- Reels items into a neat pile at the turret base. Items keep normal auto-stack behaviour — no inventory hacks, no ObjectDB edits.
- Configurable everything: range, reel speed, pile radius, harpoon flight time, concurrent targets, cooldown, tether visibility, and an ignored-items list.
Requirements
- BepInEx 5 (denikson-BepInExPack_Valheim)
- Jotunn 2.30.x (ValheimModding-Jotunn)
Installation
- Install through your mod manager (recommended) — BepInEx and Jotunn are installed automatically.
- Manual: drop HarpoonLooter.dll into BepInEx\plugins\.
How to use
- Restart the game after installing (the build piece is registered at startup).
- Build the Harpoon Looter from the Hammer under Furniture.
- Place it near where you fight or loot. It runs unattended: items dropped within CollectionRange are harpooned and reeled toward the turret's base, landing in a scattered pile on the ground.
- Loot the pile whenever you like — items auto-stack as they land.
- To keep the turret off certain loot (e.g. Wood, Stone, Amber), set IgnoredItems. This is applied live without a restart.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
