Food Bag
A separate food bag for AzuExtendedPlayerInventory:
a few slots in AzuEPI's equipment panel that only take food, and that keep you fed by themselves.
Features
- Food bag slots (Food 1, Food 2, Food 3 by default) next to AzuEPI's equipment and quick slots. They only
accept food - no potions, meads or other items.
- Auto eat from the bag:
- when one of your three food slots is free, a food from the bag that you are not already eating is eaten;
- when a food is about to run out (below Refresh below % of its time, default 5%), the same food is eaten again
if the bag has it - otherwise another food from the bag, if Use another food is on.
- Quick eat key (default Left Alt + F): eat from the bag right now - fills a free food slot or refreshes the
food closest to running out.
- Uses the game's own "eat" (the same as a right click on the food), so every vanilla rule applies: the game only
lets you eat a food again after half of its time.
Configuration
BepInEx/config/ValheimLiteni.FoodBag.cfg (or in game with a configuration manager):
| Section | Setting | Default |
|---|---|---|
| 1 - General | Enabled | true |
| 2 - Food bag | Slots | 3 (1-6, restart the game after changing; empty removed slots first) |
| 2 - Food bag | Slot name | Food |
| 3 - Auto eat | Auto eat | true |
| 3 - Auto eat | Refresh below % | 5 (0 = only when a food has run out) |
| 3 - Auto eat | Use another food | true |
| 4 - Quick eat | Quick eat key | Left Alt + F |
| 4 - Quick eat | Messages | true |
Install
Client side: everyone who wants a food bag installs it. It needs AzuExtendedPlayerInventory (a dependency), which
should be on the server and all clients as usual.
Before removing the mod, move the food out of the bag slots.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
