Fix Achievements
A BepInEx plugin for Valheim that fixes achievement-related issues caused by modded or cheated saves.
This mod bypasses the game's cheated-save checks so achievements can work normally again.
Features
- Clears the local player's cheated flag
- Resets the profile's cheat usage flag
- Removes cheated tags from inventory items
- Bypasses world-cheat detection for achievements
Installation
- Download the latest FixAchievements.dll.
- Extract it into your BepInEx/Plugins folder.
- Start Valheim and load your save.
Configuration
The plugin creates config entries in the BepInEx config folder. Available toggles include:
- General.Enabled
- General.Debug
- General.Bypass IsWorldCheated
- General.Clear Cheated Items Tag
- General.Show Messages
Notes
This plugin is intended for saves that have been modified or used with cheats. It helps remove the flags that cause Valheim to treat the save as invalid for achievements, but it does not grant achievements automatically.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
