First Person POV
Scroll fully in to enter first person with your body and gear visible. Scroll out to return to third person. F1 toggles the HUD.
The camera follows your head's movement while aim stays independent. Your body turns with your view, a drawn bow tilts aside, and looking down gradually fades your body and equipment. Includes adjustable walking sway and underwater blur.
Install
Requires BepInEx. Install with a mod manager, or place FirstPersonPOV.dll in BepInEx/plugins. Install on your client; no server installation is needed.
Settings
Edit BepInEx/config/jpvalheim.firstpersonpov.cfg, or use the console:

These list settings, explain one, and change/save its value. Type ffpov and press Tab for suggestions. Boolean settings accept on/off or true/false. No devcommands is needed.
Crosshair settings control visibility by activity. ShowBowDrawCircle controls the tightening bow circle separately.
Default FOV is 80. Updates preserve saved settings; use ffpov FirstPersonFOV 80 to apply it to an existing config.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
