FallRoll
Timed Jump while falling softens fall damage. Skill-based landing roll — not Feather Fall.
About this mod Author’s original text
Fall Roll
Timed Jump while falling to soften fall damage — skill expression, not immunity.
Feels vanilla: uses your Jump bind, the dodge-roll animation, and existing stamina. No new keys, sounds, or assets.
Behavior
| Situation | Result |
|-----------|--------|
| Falling, press Jump in time, impact in range, enough stamina | Landing roll + partial damage reduction |
| Bad timing / too soft / too hard / no stamina / Feather Fall | Vanilla fall damage |
Uses peak downward velocity (not fall height), so it stays compatible with gravity / movement mods.
Timing (Jump → impact)
- Perfect 0–90 ms → 40% reduction
- Good 91–200 ms → 25%
- Late 201–320 ms → 15%
- Later → no roll
Stamina (by impact speed)
- 6–14 m/s → 15
- 14–18 → 20
- 18–22 → 25
- 22–28 → 30
Does not stack with Feather Fall / soft-fall effects.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
