Lucky Trinket & Great Fortune Trinket
A Valheim mod that adds two Utility-slot charms for EpicLoot: the Lucky Trinket raises the rarity floor of nearby loot, and the Great Fortune Trinket additionally adds your worn equipment to nearby drop pools.
package: EpicLoot_LuckTrinket
Localization: English / Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese
Features
- Rarity floor for nearby drops: magic gear dropped near the wearer never rolls below the trinket's own rarity.
- It never upgrades drop quality — low rolls are simply removed (discarded), so EpicLoot's original rarity odds stay untouched.
- Equipment and unidentified items below the floor are discarded (they never drop).
- Quality materials (shards, crafting materials, runestones) may still drop up to MaterialTolerance steps below the floor (default 1 = one step below is kept).
- Plain materials (coins, wood, etc.) are unaffected.
- Great Fortune Trinket - worn equipment pool injection: your enchantable worn gear is added to nearby drop pools, so you can find your own equipment as loot.
- Injected items take WornPoolShare of the pool's total weight (default 0.2 = about 20% yours / 80% original); the original loot pool is never blocked or removed.
- Injected items roll the pool's original rarity odds — no clamping, no quality upgrades.
- Per-item relative weights: held weapon x2, utility items x0.4 (ExtraSlots only), everything else x1.
- Ammo, stackable and restricted items are skipped (they cannot be enchanted).
- Starts unenchanted: enchant it at the EpicLoot enchanting table to choose its rarity. This mod also keeps the trinket in the enchant list afterwards, so you can re-enchant it later to upgrade.
- No random enchant effects: the trinkets only carry rarity. They never roll "Bloodrage" or other random effects.
- ExtraSlots friendly: registered as Utility (same class as Void Chest). With ExtraSlots you can equip them in extra utility slots, keep several trinkets equipped, and leave the vanilla Trinket slot free for vanilla trinkets.
- Localization: English / Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese.
Recipes
| Item | Station | Materials |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky Trinket | Workbench | Wood x10 + Bone Fragments x10 + Coins x50 |
| Great Fortune Trinket | Workbench | Lucky Trinket x1 + Iron x10 |
Usage
- Craft a Lucky Trinket (starts unenchanted: no floor yet).
- Equip it in a Utility slot (ExtraSlots adds extra slots; the vanilla Trinket slot stays free).
- Enchant it at the EpicLoot enchanting table and pick a target rarity (e.g. Epic / Legendary).
- That rarity becomes the drop floor: lower-rarity gear no longer drops near you.
- Want your own gear to drop too? Craft the Great Fortune Trinket (Lucky Trinket + 10 Iron) and equip it.
- Want more? Re-enchant the trinket to pick a higher rarity (cost scales with the target rarity).

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
