EndosCoinPurse
Adds a dedicated HUD slot for your coins in the inventory interface.
About this mod Author’s original text
EndosCoinPurse
A lightweight Valheim mod that adds a clean, dedicated HUD slot for your coins directly into your inventory user interface. Inspired by the native styling of Valheim's durability and shield overlays.
Features
- Dedicated Coin Tracker: See exactly how many coins you are carrying at a glance without searching your inventory slots.
- Native Look & Feel: The custom HUD slot automatically clones the background, borders, and materials of your current UI theme.
- Perfect Alignment: Features an overlapping gold icon centered on the top border, keeping the item count cleanly centered in the middle of the slot.
- Performance Friendly: Uses efficient Harmony patches to update and display the HUD elements smoothly without causing lag.
Installation
With a Mod Manager (Recommended)
- Open your preferred Valheim mod manager (e.g., r2modman or Mod Manager).
- Search for EndosCoinPurse.
- Click Download.
Manual Installation
- Ensure you have BepInEx pack for Valheim installed.
- Download the latest release DLL (EndosCoinPurse.dll).
- Extract and place the file inside your Valheim directory under Valheim\BepInEx\plugins\.
Technical Configuration
The mod dynamically finds and styles the UI component via Unity hooks:
- Uses the original game font (Averia) for consistency.
- Disables default UI shaders on the icon component to fix dark or muddy coin sprite colors.
- Automatically registers hooks for InventoryGui.Show and InventoryGui.Hide to manage visibility.
Requirements
- BepInEx pack for Valheim

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
