Description
Tired of farming skeletons and greydwarfs to get your skill level to a respectable amount? No longer!
With this mod the fastest way to gain exp is to challenge yourself by venturing into the late-game biomes.
Enemies from later biomes give additional exp, with default gain in the meadows and the following bonuses in later biomes: (This is just a general outline, some enemies grant more or less than their biome bonus)
- Black forest +10%
- Swamp +30%
- Mountains +60%
- Plains +100%
- Mistlands +160%
- Ashlands +240%
- DeepNorth +300%
In addition, there's a separate multiplier applied based on the enemy's star level (+1x per star lv, up to 3).
That means you can a over 10x multiplier when fighting a 2-star charred warrior! Provided you can survive.
This mod affects:
- All the combat skills (melee and ranged weapons)
- Magic skills
- Block skill
- Dodge skill
- Sneak skill
- Fishing skill! (Additional exp from late-game fish, multiplier based on fish quality instead of star level)

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
