Press F1 to open or close the standalone BepInEx configuration manager.
- Browse and search loaded plugins and configuration entries.
- Edit booleans, ranged values, enums, fixed lists, text, numbers, and other TOML-compatible values.
- Use Record on shortcut settings to press a keyboard key or mouse button with optional modifiers. Escape cancels recording; Clear removes the binding. DadsEPI's display text only changes the label.
- Reset individual settings or reload configuration files from disk.
- Use Save & Close to save changes or Cancel to restore the opening values.
- The game pauses automatically while the manager is open.
- A full-screen top-order blocker prevents clicks, controller submission, inventory input, pause-menu input, movement, attacks, and placement from passing through the manager.
- DadsEPI custom equipment slots use one name field, one prefab-list field, an Add Slot button, and an active-slot list.
Requires Valheim 1.0.12 and BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2350.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
