DabosGG Vanilla Server Pack 3.0.0
Migration workspace: Valheim 1.0 / Deep North
Package version: 3.0.0
State: Dependency list established — runtime/client testing still required
The 3.0 generation of the Vanilla Server Pack is being rebuilt as a quality-of-life focused baseline for Valheim 1.0.
Unlike older versions of this pack, 3.0 is no longer being designed around vanilla-client or crossplay compatibility. Some included mods may need to be installed client-side for the intended experience. Exact client/server requirements still need to be confirmed during testing.
3.0.0 — currently included
These are the dependencies currently being retained because they are the maintained Valheim 1.0 options selected for the 3.0 migration.

Removed from the 3.0 baseline
The following dependencies were present in the historical 2.0.0 pack but are not currently included in 3.0.0.
Their removal is not necessarily permanent. They may be restored if they are updated for Valheim 1.0, or replaced if a maintained alternative is found.

Earlier historical removals and replacements
These dependencies had already left the pack before the 3.0 migration.
| Dependency | Last included | History |
| --- | --- | --- |
| bbepis-BepInExPack | 1.0.1 | Replaced by denikson-BepInExPack_Valheim beginning with 1.0.2. |
| Goldenrevolver-Quick_Stack_Store_Sort_Trash_Restock | 1.0.1 | Removed in 1.0.2 because of documented compatibility issues. |
| Tekla-AutoRepair | 1.5.0 | Replaced in the 2.0 generation by ComfyMods-ComfyAutoRepair, which is itself currently removed from 3.0 pending maintenance/replacement. |
Pack direction
The historic name Vanilla Server Pack is being retained for continuity, but the design goal for 3.0 is:
- preserve a mostly vanilla-style progression;
- add practical quality-of-life improvements;
- avoid abandoned dependencies;
- use actively maintained Valheim 1.0 mods;
- accept client-side requirements where a QoL mod needs them;
- do not promise vanilla-client or crossplay compatibility;
- reintroduce removed features when maintained replacements or updates become available;
- include NerdyGamerTools AutoBroadcaster as the standard scheduled-broadcast server mod.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
