About this mod Author’s original text

ClockDaddy+

Countdown timers for the things you keep forgetting in Valheim. A companion to ClockDaddy,

but it works on its own.

What it does

  • Six named timers. Out of the box: Puff farm (1 hour), Mistwalker (20 min), Food

(25 min), Fermenter (40 min), plus two spares. Rename them and set your own times in F1.

  • Pick and start with the keyboard.
  • Shift + = / Shift + -: step through your timers (the pick shows on screen).
  • Shift + T: start the picked timer, or stop it if it's running.
  • See what's running. Running timers are listed on screen with their countdown.
  • Know when it's done. A chime and "Mistwalker is done!" when a timer runs out. The timer

flashes in the list for a minute; Shift+T clears it sooner.

  • Snooze. Page Down restarts a finished timer for 5 more minutes (Snooze Length in F1),

like an alarm clock. It snoozes the picked timer if that's the one done, otherwise the latest.

  • Two kinds of time. Each timer counts either Real time (tool durability while you

train, food) or World time (crops, fermenters), which also jumps ahead when everyone

sleeps, just like the plants do.

  • Survives logging out. Real timers keep counting while the game is closed. World timers

belong to the world you started them in.

  • Everything in F1. Keys, names, durations, sounds, colors and position, all changed live.

Each timer also has a Start / Stop button in F1.

Your own alert sound

Set Sound to Custom and put a WAV file at BepInEx/plugins/ClockDaddyPlus/sounds/custom.wav

(uncompressed PCM or float, any sample rate, mono or stereo). Swap it any time and press Test Sound.

If the file is missing, it plays Chime.

Install

Use Gale / r2modman, or drop ClockDaddyPlus.dll into BepInEx/plugins/ClockDaddyPlus.

The F1 window comes from a Configuration Manager mod (any of them). Without one the settings

are in BepInEx/config/com.laoch.clockdaddyplus.cfg.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
