Current release: 1.0.9, audited against the governed current Valheim CLIENT assets.
Adds Brennivín, a cyan-blue fermentable protection flask for Valheim.
- Craft Mead base: Brennivín at the Mead Ketill.
- Ferment the base to produce one Brennivín flask.
- Drink one flask to activate protection for the next death; the flask is consumed immediately.
- Protection is restored after logout/login from its persisted consumed-protection marker.
- A second flask is not consumed while protection is already active, and a flask is not consumed when the world already uses DeathKeepInventory.
- A protected death preserves the player's vanilla inventory/equipment instead of transferring it to a tombstone.
- EquipmentSheet dedicated slots remain in EquipmentSheet and its temporary protection snapshot is cleared when Brennivín protection is spent.
- Protection requires both the Brennivín status effect and the consumed-protection marker.
- Brennivín does not teleport the player to a bed.
- Base recipe uses Cloudberries, Honey, Thistle, Dandelion, and Bone Fragments.
- Uses Jotunn network compatibility and server-controlled gameplay config.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
