Choose each boat's chest size and cargo cap, and take a ship apart with the hammer. ⛵
What it does
Each boat gets its own chest settings. The hammer can also break a ship down and hand the materials back.
Chest size
BepInEx/config/com.frizzqol.boatcontrol.cfg
The first launch writes one section per boat, using that boat's normal chest size.
| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Width | Chest columns. 1 to 8. 0 or less keeps the normal width. |
| Height | Chest rows. 0 or less keeps the normal height. |
| MaxWeight | Most cargo weight the chest will hold. 0 or less means no cap. |
Empty a chest before you shrink it. Items that no longer fit are lost.
Taking a ship apart
HammerDeconstruct under [General] starts on. Hammer middle-click drops the cargo on the ground, then returns the boat materials. Someone standing on the ship blocks it.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
