BIKINGS
=======
A craftable, fully animated bicycle for Valheim.
Arcade handling, ridiculous stunts, enemy bowling, destructive riding and a
radio that plays your own music while you ride.
Build a Viking bicycle from wood, bronze nails and bronze, then ride it across
tenth century Scandinavia.
The wheels roll, the cranks turn and your character actually pedals. The
rider's legs stay locked to the pedals, hands stay on the grips and the whole
bike leans naturally into corners.
QUICK START
===========
There are two ways to get a bicycle.
Press F7 while playing to instantly spawn a bicycle near your character.
This is the fastest way to get riding and is useful for testing the mod.
You can also build the bicycle normally using the Hammer.
Open the Hammer menu.
Open the Misc category.
Build the Bicycle using
10 Wood
10 Bronze Nails
1 Bronze
Press E to get on.
Press E again to get off.
Bicycles persist through relogs and server restarts and can be removed using
the Hammer.
THE FUN STUFF
=============
BOWL YOUR ENEMIES
\-----------------
Ride into a Greydwarf at full sprint and send it flying.
About one successful hit in five becomes a MEGA launch that can send enemies
into the stratosphere.
The bicycle does not stop when hitting enemies.
Other players and tamed animals are protected and are never hit by the enemy
launch system.
Everyone else is a bowling pin.
SMASH MODE
\----------
Smash Mode is enabled by default.
Plow straight through trees, rocks, bushes and structures without slowing
down.
Trees topple.
Rocks shatter.
Bushes and plants are destroyed.
Structures can be smashed.
Resources drop normally where the object was destroyed.
Destructible objects do not stop the bicycle.
WARNING
Smash Mode also affects player buildings.
This includes your own buildings.
Ride responsibly.
Or do not.
BUNNY HOPS
\-----------
Hold the hop key to charge your jump.
A quick tap produces a small hop that can clear small obstacles.
The longer you hold the button, the higher the bicycle jumps.
The maximum jump height can be configured.
At extreme settings the maximum height can reach 50 metres.
You can jump over walls, onto rooftops and even onto Fuling huts.
WHEELIES AND STOPPIES
\---------------------
Lean backwards while sprinting to perform a wheelie.
Lean forwards while braking to perform a stoppie.
Wheelies and stoppies can be enabled or disabled in the configuration.
AIR CONTROL
\-----------
You keep control of the bicycle while jumping or flying from hills and ramps.
A and D steer the bicycle while airborne.
W adds a small amount of forward movement.
S drags the bicycle backwards.
Numpad 8 pitches the nose of the bicycle down.
Numpad 2 pitches the nose of the bicycle up.
Use these controls to correct the bicycle in the air and try to stick the
landing.
ONE HAND CRUISING
\-----------------
Hold the left mouse button and the bicycle automatically pedals while steering
towards wherever the camera is looking.
Rapidly tap W or hold Shift to sprint pedal.
While sprint pedalling your character stands on the pedals and the bicycle
rocks underneath the rider.
YOUR OWN RADIO
\--------------
Bikings includes a built in radio system.
Drop your own music files into the Bikings Radio folder and cruise through
Valheim listening to your own soundtrack.
Supported music formats are

Songs are automatically detected when placed inside the Radio folder.

Instantly spawn a bicycle near your character.
LEFT MOUSE HOLD
Pedal automatically and steer towards wherever the camera is looking.
W HOLD
Pedal at normal cruise speed.
W TAP RAPIDLY
Sprint pedal.
The rider stands up on the pedals and travels faster.
SHIFT HOLD
Sprint pedal.
S
Brake.
Continue holding to reverse.
A AND D
Steer the bicycle.
The bicycle leans into turns.
Steering also works while airborne.
SPACE HOLD AND RELEASE
Charge a bunny hop.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
