betterValheim is a curated modpack designed to make your Viking journey deeper, tougher, and more rewarding—without losing the heart of Valheim.
Whether you're a battle-hardened berserker or just tired of vanilla limitations, this is for you.

A balanced collection of gameplay, combat, and quality-of-life mods.
Everything here is hand-picked to enhance the experience without breaking immersion or overwhelming the game.
Think more content, rangring from animals to mighty spells, expanded building, control over how you play,
and best of all: more TIME to enjoy these features! Done are the days of sorting chests like a thrall when coming back from a raid.
⚙️ Quick Install ( Mod Manager)
- Download and open the Mod Manager.
- Select Valheim as your game.
- Search for betterValheim.
- Click Install.
- Click on betterValheim and install the dependencies.
You're good to go.

‼️Final Step: Keep calm and slay some trolls
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
