39 more creatures to tame, from deer, hares, necks and trolls to seekers and morgen, each with its own food
and many with young of their own; tames that earn stars from what they kill, up to 30, so your
wolf keeps up with the late game; wild creatures with more than two stars; tames that are
knocked out instead of dying and get up again; and every tame follows you or stays on command —
all of it set in one place, synced from the server, in English and German.
Works with BetrValheim by DezzyCode: every setting of
BetrTame in its own tab of BetrValheim's F11 window.

| --- | --- |
| Tame more creatures | 39 more creatures, deer and hares among them, each with its own food; taming time grows with the biome |
| Young | The beasts among them have young, born tame |
| Tames earn stars | Every kill gives experience; stars up to 30, healed in full with each new one |
| Shared experience | Tames following you get half of what you kill within 30 m |
| Stars above two | Health, damage, size and loot grow per star, each on its own setting |
| Wild stars | Wild creatures can spawn with more than two stars: up to 2 in the Meadows, 8 in the Ashlands and Deep North |
| Star count | Above two stars, the bar over a creature shows a star and the number of stars |
| Knocked out, not dead | A tame that would die lies still for 60 s and gets up again; only the butcher knife kills it |
| Every tame obeys | Every tame follows or stays when you use it, not only wolves |
| Tames catch up | A tame that follows you and falls 50 m behind is brought to you |
| Back with you after death | Die, and the tames following you wait where you respawn; knocked-out ones get up there |
| Tames fight their own kind | Your wolves defend you against wild wolves |
| Taming and fed time | One setting each, for every tame including the game's own |
| Food of the game's tames | What wolves, boars, lox, hens, asksvin and moose eat, set in F11 |
| Hover info | Stars, experience to the next star, and the time until a knocked-out tame gets up |
| Alone or together | In single player your own settings count; on a server the server's, for everyone |
| Any language | English and German built in: a German game reads German, every other one English |
| BetrValheim | Every setting in its own F11 tab; the server's for admins only |
Every number here is a default and can be changed in the settings.
Tame more creatures
Feed a creature what it eats and keep it calm, as you would a wolf: it eats what lies on the
ground near it, and while it is fed and nothing frightens it, the taming runs. Taming time grows
with the biome — the game's own wolf takes 30 minutes.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
