Hearthstone
Adds two craftable items that let you return to your bed without dying or losing your gear.
Items
Hearthstone
A stone bound by the spirit of the forest. Right-click it from your inventory to begin channeling — stand still for 3 seconds and you'll be carried home to your bed, keeping everything in your inventory.
- Crafted at a Workbench
- 30 minute cooldown
- Cannot be used while carrying ore, ingots, or other items that don't pass through portals
- Cooldown only counts down while you are logged in — logging off freezes the timer
Awakened Hearthstone
The Hearthstone reforged in Ashlands flame. Works the same way but with fewer restrictions and a shorter cooldown.
- Crafted at the Black Forge (Ashlands)
- 15 minute cooldown
- Bypasses all portal restrictions — carry ore, ingots, dragon eggs, and quest items home
- Cooldown only counts down while you are logged in

How It Works
- Craft the Hearthstone and place it in your inventory
- Sleep in a bed to set your spawn point
- Open your inventory and right-click the Hearthstone to begin casting
- Stand still for 3 seconds — a cast bar will appear showing the countdown
- Moving, taking damage, or dying will cancel the cast with no cooldown penalty
- On completion you are teleported to your bed with your full inventory intact
Items Blocked by the Normal Hearthstone
The following cannot be carried through the normal Hearthstone, matching vanilla portal rules. The Awakened Hearthstone bypasses all of these.
- All ores and ingots (Copper, Tin, Bronze, Iron, Silver, Black Metal, Flametal)
- Dragon Eggs

Cooldown Persistence
Cooldowns are tied to your character and only tick down while you are online. If you log off with 12 minutes remaining, you will still have 12 minutes remaining when you return — regardless of how long you were offline.
Server Play
This mod uses EveryoneMustHaveMod compatibility. All players connecting to a server must have the mod installed at the same version, and the server itself must also have it installed.

Manual install:
Copy Hearthstone.dll, Hearthstone_OG.png, Hearthstone_Awakened.png, and CastbarFrame1.png into:
BepInEx/plugins/Hearthstone/
Using r2modman or the Mod Manager is recommended — install through the mod manager and it handles everything automatically.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
