AutoPOI
Stop stopping to drop pins. Walk near a dungeon, a cave, a boss altar or a vendor and
it goes on your map by itself, with its name. Go inside, and it gets crossed off.
What's in it
- Dungeons and caves, every biome. Burial Chambers, Troll Caves, Sunken Crypts,
Frost Caves, Infested Mines, Hildir's Smouldering Tomb, Howling Cavern and Sealed
Tower, the Charred Fortress, Morgen holes, and the holes and caves of the Deep North.
- Boss altars. Eikthyr, the Elder, Bonemass, Moder, Yagluth, the Queen and Fader.
- Vendors. Haldor, Hildir and the Bog Witch.
- Crossed off once you've been in. Go down into a dungeon, or step into a boss
arena, and its pin gets the same red cross you'd give it by clicking it on the map.
At a glance you can see which caves are done and which are still waiting.
- No doubled-up pins. If a place already has a pin, from a Vegvisir, one of
Hildir's maps, a cartography table or your own hand, that pin is used instead.
- Your map stays yours. Each place is pinned once per character, per world. Delete
a pin and it stays deleted; clear a cross and it stays cleared.
- Configurable. Switch any kind of place off, give each its own map icon, and set
how close you need to get.
Anything with an underground interior counts as a dungeon, and anything with a boss
altar counts as a boss, so places added by a game update or another mod are picked up
too, under a readable version of their name.
Pins are ordinary map pins. They save with your map, you can rename them, cross them off
and back on, or delete them, and they stay if you uninstall the mod.

Multiplayer
Client-side only. Install it on your own game; the server and other players don't
need it, and each player's pins are their own. Pins you share or receive at a
cartography table work as normal.
Safe to add to an existing world, and safe to remove.
Found a place it misses?
Turn on Debug / LogNearbyLocations, walk up to it, and send the matching line from
BepInEx/LogOutput.log to the Discord above.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
