Astigs Valheim Server Modpack Manifest & Decision Log
Added (Approved & Configured)
The mods included in this pack have been vetted for server stability, minimal UI overlap, and unified progression logic.
- Core Systems & Magic: WackyEpicMMOSystem, EpicLoot, and Therzie's complete suite (Wizardry, Warfare, Armory, Monstrum) form the baseline progression. AdvancedPortals handles tiered teleportation.
- Server Integrity: NetworkTweaks secures data flow. ValheimEnforcer and ServerCharacters lock down client-side cheating. Admin-only tools (Infinity Hammer, Server devcommands) are restricted from standard players.
- Building & Atmosphere: Gizmo controls rotation. NoRainDamage protects builds. SkyLands provides endgame floating islands (enforced via admin rules due to disabled structural integrity). Over 10+ building piece packs (Ravenwood, OdinArchitect, balrond) are included.
- Wildlife & Farming: (configured for balance) and various domesticated animals (Dogs, Husky, MagicalMounts) are active. PlantEverything and MassFarming` cover agriculture.
- QoL & Inventory: EquipmentAndQuickSlots + MyLittleUI handle the interface. CraftFromContainers and AzuAutoStore handle automated sorting and base logistics.
Skipped (Conflicts, Redundancies & Overhauls)
The following mods were intentionally omitted to protect server balance and stability:
- ZenDragon Suite: All Zen mods skipped per server rules.
- Magic Redundancies: MagicPlugin, Rune Magic, Skyheim, etc., were dropped to ensure Therzie's Wizardry remains the sole magical progression path.
- Class/Race Overhauls: Valheim Legends Fork and RacesOfValheim were skipped to prevent combat trivialization and clashes with EpicLoot.
- UI/Inventory Conflicts: BetterUI, AzuExtendedPlayerInventory, StoreAndCraft, and CraftFromChests were skipped to protect EquipmentAndQuickSlots and CraftFromContainers.
- Major Mechanics Cheese: Better Boats, OneMoreMeal, ForsakenPowersPlusRemastered, Deathlink, and ValheimRAFT (due to dedicated server physics desync) were dropped.
- Stat Bloat: All standalone Smoothbrain skill/yield mods (Mining, Foraging, etc.) and Artisan Mastery were dropped to keep baseline vanilla scaling intact.
- Network Conflicts: VBNetTweaks and NetworkPerformanceSystem were skipped to protect Searica-NetworkTweaks.
Reserved for Endgame Consideration
These mods are approved in concept but held back for future deployment when players experience endgame fatigue or require fresh mechanics:
- CreatureLevelAndLootControl (CLLC): Adds up to 5-star scaling, split bosses, and elemental mob damage modifiers.
- Valheim Legends Fork: Held in case players want a seasonal reset focusing on cooldown-based RPG abilities over crafted gear.
- RacesOfValheim: Held for potential future wipes focusing on asymmetrical faction/race gameplay.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
