About this mod Author’s original text
AnywhereBuild
AnywhereBuild removes Valheim's normal building restrictions so you can build and dismantle in places the game would normally block.
Features
- Build in normally restricted areas.
- Build inside mystical and no-build zones.
- Dismantle placed building pieces in restricted areas.
- Uses Valheim's normal dismantling system for targeting, refunds, effects, networking, and destruction.
- Optional crafting-station requirement bypass.
- Optional unsupported/floating structure support bypass.
- Configurable enable/disable toggle key.
- Toggle key is disabled by default.
Configuration
The config file is generated at:
BepInEx/config/Moopfam.AnywhereBuild.cfg
[Moopfam]
Enabled = true
ToggleKey = None
IgnoreCraftingStationRequirement = true
AllowUnsupportedStructures = true
Enabled
Enabled = true
Enables or disables AnywhereBuild.
ToggleKey
ToggleKey = None
Keyboard shortcut used to toggle AnywhereBuild on or off.
The toggle key is disabled by default. Set it to a key such as:
ToggleKey = F7
to enable keyboard toggling.
IgnoreCraftingStationRequirement
IgnoreCraftingStationRequirement = true
When enabled, building pieces no longer require their normal crafting station to be nearby.
This includes requirements such as:
- Workbench
- Stonecutter
- Forge
- Artisan Table
- Other piece-required crafting stations
When this option is enabled, the build HUD also hides the None placeholder that normally appears when the required crafting station is not in range.
Set it to:
IgnoreCraftingStationRequirement = false
to restore normal crafting-station range requirements.
AllowUnsupportedStructures
AllowUnsupportedStructures = true
When enabled, structures can be built without normal structural support, including floating and unsupported pieces.
Set it to:
AllowUnsupportedStructures = false
to restore Valheim's normal structural-support behavior.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
