AllTheOres
Adds configurable Black Metal conversion recipes and optional iron, copper and tin support to the Blast Furnace.
About this mod Author’s original text
All the Ores
All the Ores adds three small, configurable conversion recipes to the Forge:
- 2 Black Metal -> 1 Iron
- 2 Black Metal -> 1 Copper
- 2 Black Metal -> 1 Tin
It also has an optional compatibility switch that lets the Blast Furnace process Iron Scrap, Copper Ore and Tin Ore. It is off by default.
The plugin does not add custom items, prefabs or textures. It uses the existing Valheim item prefabs and icons only. As a compatibility safeguard, an old inventory item with an invalid icon variant is repaired while its inventory is loaded, instead of patching Valheim's icon renderer every frame.
Installation
Install the package with a -compatible mod manager, or extract it into the Valheim game directory. BepInEx and Jötunn are installed automatically when the package is managed by.
The plugin is installed at BepInEx/plugins/AllTheOres/AllTheOres.dll.
Configuration
Start Valheim once, then edit BepInEx/config/com.alltheores.valheim.cfg and restart the game:
[General]
EnableForgeRecipes = true
EnableBlastFurnaceCompatibility = false
[Forge Recipes]
BlackmetalToIronCost = 2
BlackmetalToCopperCost = 2
BlackmetalToTinCost = 2
The three cost values are the number of Black Metal bars required for one output bar. Changes are read when the game starts. In multiplayer, use the same mod version and config on the server and all clients.
Notes
The Blast Furnace option adds the standard Valheim inputs IronScrap, CopperOre and TinOre.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
