Allfather's Grasp
English · Deutsch
What you never wanted stays on the ground. Click a thing in your bag, click the
button, and auto-pickup leaves it alone from then on. Picking it up with E still
works.
English
Valheim has auto-pickup or it has nothing. After an hour of that your bag is
full of stone, wood and feathers you did not ask for, and sorting it out takes
longer than the gathering did.
How it is used
Open your inventory. Under the window there is a button.
- Click a stack of stone. It hangs on the cursor, the way it does when you
move things around.
- Click the button. The stone goes back into the slot it came from, and
from now on stone stays on the ground when you walk over it.
Click the button with an empty cursor and the list opens — one tile per thing,
with its own picture. Click a tile to allow it again. Allow all again empties
the list, and the same spot then offers Undo once, so a wrong click costs
nothing.
Nothing is ever stored in that window. It holds names, not things: there is no
slot to lose something in, and nothing to use as a second bag.
What it does not touch
- Picking up with E. Always works, on everything, blocked or not.
- Berries and mushrooms on the bush. Those are not auto-pickup; you press E
for them, and the mod does not go near it.
- Anybody else. The list is yours alone. Nothing is sent over the wire, the
server does not need the mod, and two people in one world can have different
lists without getting in each other's way.
Blocking something you are not carrying
The button can only reach what is in your bag — which is almost always the right
thing, because you block what has just annoyed you. For the rest, the list is in
the game too: Escape → Allfather's → Allfather's Grasp — the window comes with
the mod. Or in the config file:
[2 - Blocklist]
Blocked = Wood,Stone,Resin
Prefab names, separated by commas. The button in your inventory writes this line
itself; changing it in the window or by hand is just as good, and takes effect at
once.
Deutsch
In diesem Fenster liegt nie etwas.
[2 - Blocklist]
Blocked = Wood,Stone,Resin
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
