small warning. chance of making starting alters under water. recommend remaking the map again if this happens even if close to land because of the powers.

a lot of mods and configs so things mesh well together. bigger world so may take a bit longer to load into the world, and there is more to see, but otherwise it's all working. i recommend not changing any configs as some things might seem harder or too easy in some ways, but it does help the overall balance whe i tested.
i'll try not to update the modpack too often unless something breaks or needs updating or i find bugs/errors. can read the changelog for changes, not putting it in the readme to save space.
i also take other suggestions for it. let me know if anything is broken or not working quite right, or just any other suggestions you want to recommend.
if you or someone is using this modpack and streams, let me know. i'd like to watch when i have the time. can also just let me know if you're playing with the modpack and so on for fun. i'd like to hear about how it's going or anything enjoyable you find about it.
what the mod pack includes:
- more skills.
- adjustment to existing skills with configs for the new ones.
- more weapons, armor, magic.
- more animals and monsters.
- more foods.
- more ships.
- more buildings.
- you can eat up to 4 foods instead of 3.
- bigger map (more resources and more to explore) (4x bigger in fact).
- stronger monsters, progressively harder biomes for more of a challenge to help balance with the new skills and levels.
- more punishing death. while it's harder to die with the new skills if you aren't reckless, dying should still be something that people want to avoid.
- i don't want to spoil any details and if you wanted to just go into this to see new things you haven't seen and are new to mods, this modpack generally is fairly good.
i wouldn't say it changes things so massively to the point it doesn't feel like the same game at least. just more to the game and some adjustments.
- a lot of config changes. i recommend not changing or turning anything off unless it's actually giving you trouble, but have fun with it.
- includes mods that help game run smoother, less errors and helps handle errors.
spoilers on more detailed additions
- backpacks, open with i.
- can press p to fast sort into all nearby storages if they hold items you are holding, doesn't take from toolbar though.
- you'll get stamina back in water if you sit still floating. can swim down with ctrl and swim up with spacebar.
- gear can be leveled past the normal point, but progressively more costly. you can grind for an easier experience, but it's going to cost more time and resources. this also lets items last longer into the next biomes for a bit longer if you do have the extra resources if you wanted to spend on the weapon and armor.
- revive your friends with in a short time, or get revived. can skip with e key if down. (1 minute).
- tamed animals have a very small chance of producing a higher tier offsping.
- some skills are very hard to level/slow to level, but massively impactful even early on. can think of some skills as bonus skills since they do level that much slowly.
- mini bosses also added.
- changes to comfort bonus and how it's calculated. try building a massive home and and get rewarded for how much you add to it in terms of rugs and so on.
- powers changed from the bosses, now giving passive and different active ones, altered to fit progression better.
- changes in stamina and movement when standing/walking/running on dirt/wood/snow and so on.
- mines for flint and ores, you'll need keys to access though, get from bosses.
- longer days, twice as long. 42 minutes for day, 18 minutes for night.
- greyling and greydwarfs will learn to fear you over time as you progressively be
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
