Adrenaline Mode
Turn Valheim into a pressure-driven roguelite.
Forced first-person. Camera lerps toward every threat. Constant pressure spawns that never let you rest. Rogue-lite XP and perks that only unlock after death.
Core Features
- Permanent First-Person — No third-person, no minimap zoom tricks. You feel every moment.
- Lerp System — The camera violently yanks toward nearby enemies. Danger is now intimate.
- Pressure Spawns — Enemies constantly refresh. Standing still is a death sentence.
- Rogue-lite Progression — Earn XP through lerps. Spend points on perks only after you die.
- 6 Working Perks — Aggressive spell procs and auras already live (more coming).
You don’t build a base.
You don’t settle.
You run, you loot, you die, you grow stronger for the next run.
This is Valheim reimagined as a roguelite.
Installation
- Extract the zip into BepInEx/plugins/
- Launch Valheim
Controls
- Perk menu appears automatically after death/respawn
- All other keys are vanilla
Planned for V1.1+
- Full POI cluster system with jackpot chests
- Biome-gated loot tables
- More passives & auras
- Run modifiers and goals
Made in ~36 hours because I was having too much fun.
Enjoy the adrenaline.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file. In multiplayer, the host and every client need the same mods installed.
