About this mod Author’s original text
Grimoire
Grimoire is the client-side interface for Reliquary progression and Voidfall presentation on compatible V Rising servers.
Features
- Relic Codex, progression, Trials, Requiem Hunts, Evolutions, titles, and combat HUD
- Voidfall portal, Abyss, reward, mutation, leaderboard, and admin interfaces when connected to a compatible server
- Weapon aura palettes, remote player auras, and the in-world three-button launcher strip
Requirements
- BepInExPack for V Rising
- Compatible server mods for the Reliquary and Voidfall features you want to use
The server mods are not included in this client package.
Grimoire 2.42.104 uses compact Reliquary UI snapshots with Reliquary 0.77.59 or newer. Older Reliquary servers continue using the legacy snapshot format. Reliquary 0.77.53 or newer is required for automatic optional Voidfall detection. Voidfall itself can be disabled without changing each player's Grimoire configuration.
Controls
- F7 opens or closes Grimoire.
- F8 shows or hides the entire Grimoire / Combat HUD / Voidfall button strip.
- The Combat HUD can also be toggled from its launcher button.
Grimoire does not grant progression or change server authority. Server-side actions are validated by their respective server mods.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
