About this mod Author’s original text
CrimsonDropRate
Server side only mod to change drop rate.
What is the difference between DropTableModifier_General native server configuration and DropRateModifier mod configuration?
Installation
- Install BepInEx
- Extract _DropRateModifier.dll_ into _(VRising server folder)/BepInEx/plugins_
Configurable Values
[DropRateConfig]
Drop rate modifier value
Setting type: Single
Default value: 1
DropRateModifier = 1
The lowest DropRate in the game is 0.001. The highest a DropRate can be is 1.0.
New Value = the lesser of (DropRate * DropRateModifier) or 1.0
Therefore, the highest possible DropRateModifier before it no longer has an effect would be 1000. At that point every table's drop rate would be 1.0.
_Do not ask me why you can't tell a difference if your modifier is set to 3. You changed a 0.05 somewhat uncommon drop to a slightly more common uncommon drop of 0.15._

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
