About this mod Author’s original text

V2 Overhaul

A ULTRAKILL mod that makes V2 a significantly harder and smarter opponent. Every aspect of V2's combat behavior has been reworked — faster attacks, predictive aim, aggressive coin usage, and reactive dodging.

Features

Combat AI

  • Aim Prediction — All V2 projectiles (revolver, shotgun, nailgun) now predict your movement based on velocity and travel time
  • Shotgun Spread — Shotgun pellets have a 5° random spread with prediction, making them harder to dodge
  • Nailgun Prediction — Nails lead your position with a 3° spread for area denial
  • Rocket Barrages — V2 periodically fires rockets at you (4s cooldown)
  • Auto-Dodge — V2 dodges when you aim directly at it (0.2s cooldown between dodges)
  • Damage Dodge — 70% chance to dodge incoming coin beam damage

Coin Behavior

  • Aggressive Coin Throwing — V2 throws coins every 1–6 seconds while enraged
  • Instant Coin Shots — V2 shoots at coins immediately when available
  • Coin Prediction — Projectiles aimed at coins use predictive targeting
  • Near-Instant Coin Shine — Coin reflect delay reduced by 90%, making coin combos almost instant

Stats

  • 4× Health — V2 has quadrupled health and max health
  • 1.25× Speed — V2 moves 25% faster
  • 10× Faster Attacks — All attack cooldowns (pistol, shotgun, coins) reduced by 90%

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.

Dependencies

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
