HardStyle
Reworks hard damage and blood healing (read description).
About this mod Author’s original text
(Hopefully Balanced) ULTRAKILL without Hard Damage. [2.0.0!!!]
HardStyle's meant for players who want an experience unimpeded by the (arguably bothersome) feature of Hard Damage, while still providing a challenge to compensate for its removal. Healing is heavily impacted by stylish performance, disincentivizing facetanking projectiles and playing passively for quick heals, all the while removing hard damage so you don't have to worry about having your fun cut short because of it.
I'm always trying to keep the mod, though customizable, as balanced and fair as I can, so if you are interested, please join my Discord server to give any feedback and criticisms:]
Features
- Complete removal of Hard Damage.
- Healing via blood and parry is tied to current style rank. At no rank, you only heal 10% what you would normally. It scales up to 30% until SSSHitstorm and then finally jumps to 100% at ULTRAKILL.
- The Screwdriver Railcannon's drill heals 50% regardless of style rank.
- Reeling into an enemy with the whiplash sets a base 1.5x rate of style decay, ramping up to 2.0x after half a second spent reeling.

- Launch the game.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
