Find the gaster
This simple Ultrakill mod will add the Mystery Man from Undertale to almost every level of the game as a SECRET. Them being in the hardest places to find on the level, even requiring for going out of bounds with glitches for some. And being able to collaborate by sending a daily gaster!
How to play
Just go to the campain and try to find one in every level listed in the find list. To see the find list, just go to the black terminal that's on the right of every start room.
- White gasters mean that you have collected them, transparent ones mean that you haven't.
- Green gasters mean that they are from a custom level (Requires Angry level loader to be installed)
- Red gasters mean that they are extra gasters (Only visible after collecting every single white and blue gaster first), with a much harder difficulty, out of bounds, or just places that I thought that they were bad enough to be alone in this category.
- Yellow gasters mean that they are a DAILY gaster, changing every day and sent by the players. You can collect them and then sell your daily gasters that you have collected in the terminal for P!
- You can buy hints to make gasters play an ambience sound for points in the terminal!
How to send a gaster
Easy! Just go to a position that you think that might be worth of a gaster, pause the game, and press "Send gaster", making a gaster in your position and instantly sending it to the server for the next day's pool!
FAQ
If I send a gaster and it's not chosen for the next day, will it be removed from the pool?
No. Gasters from the "next day pool" are not removed when not chosen, only chosen ones will be removed from the pool.
Why are my gasters white cubes?
Make sure that you have an INTERNET CONNECTION, as the mod will download certain files from duviz.xyz. Both for assets and the daily gaster.
Does this mod break with other mods on?
Not really, in fact, if you have Angry level loader installed, there will be an extra gaster category, even though compatibility is still being worked on.
Does this mod break the vanilla experience?
No. I really wanted to keep this mod as vanilla-friendly as possible, not changing anything from the core gameplay and not really affecting performance, being able to be a mod that you can have always installed.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
