Exit Door Manager
Can change which level an exit door leads to.
About this mod Author’s original text
What does this mod do?
- This mod allows you to change where the exit door of a level leads. For example, you can change the exit of Level 7-4 to lead to Level 0-1 or perhaps Level P-1.
- You can also use this mod to skip the game intro or intermission cutscenes.
- The mod also has a randomization feature to shuffle all the levels in the campaign.
Mod usage
- Go into Options.
- Go into "PLUGIN CONFIG" (top left corner).
- Select "Exit Door Manager"
- For every level exit in the game, there is a dropdown you can use to select where the exit leads.
- For the randomizer, open the "Randomizer" menu and click on the "Randomize" button.
Manual Installation
- First, ensure BepInEx and PluginConfigurator are installed.
- Then, drag the "ExitDoorManager" folder to the BepInEx/plugins folder in your game files.
Potential Issues
- It is technically possible to set the initial scene to "Close Game", which will close your game right as it starts.
- If you accidentally do this, go to your BepInEx folder (if using a r2modman, go to settings and then "browse profile folder"), then config, then PluginConfigurator, and look for the file "com.earthlingOnFire.ExitDoorManager.config". Manually modify the setting or delete the file entirely.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
