🔴 BRUTAL V1 MODE 🦾
Transform V1 into a V2-level predator. This mod uses direct Rigidbody velocity injection to bypass the game's internal friction, giving you the aggressive speed and tanky stats of a Brutal-difficulty boss.
⚡ FEATURES
- HP Buff: 250 Base HP (Start every level as a tank).
- V2 Speed: Direct Velocity Injection (35 units base walking speed).
- Brutal Slide: Locked 80-unit slide speed (No friction decay).
- V2 Dashes: Snappier, higher-velocity bursts (140 dash speed).
- Always Active: No menus, no buttons. Just pure V2 aggression.
🛠 TROUBLESHOOTING (FROM THE DEV 🔥)
❌ Game Crashes / Mod Not Loading?
- Wrong plugin folder: Ensure BrutalV1.dll is directly in BepInEx/plugins.
- BepInEx not installed: Verify BepInEx files are in your game’s root directory.
- Metadata Ghost: Check the console. If it says 0 plugins to load, your [BepInPlugin] ID is likely broken.
🧠 PRO TIPS
💡 “Even if your DLL breaks, don’t quit.”
- Fix dependencies: Always reference UnityEngine.PhysicsModule and UnityEngine.CoreModule in your.csproj.
- Check.csproj: Ensure your libs folder paths are exact. One typo kills the build.
- Rebuild again: Use dotnet clean before dotnet build to kill ghost errors from old versions.
🏁 INSTALLATION
- Install BepInEx 5.4.2100 or newer.
- Drop BrutalV1.dll into BepInEx/plugins.
- Launch ULTRAKILL and enter any level.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
