About this mod Author’s original text
Military Forces
A World War II military faction for Totally Accurate Battle Simulator with 17
combat roles, original Blender-authored weapons and equipment, and the 30-battle
Operation Frontier campaign.
Version 1.12.0 re-themes the whole faction: M1 helmets, field jackets, canvas
webbing and leggings, and period weapons (M1 Garand, Thompson, StG 44, MG42,
Browning M2, M1903 Springfield, M1 Carbine, M3, trench gun, bazooka, M2 flame
thrower). The Special Forces Operator and the Assault Veteran are deliberately
half modern, half WWII hybrids: WWII clothing and weapons with modern night
vision, a plate carrier or chest rig, tactical gloves, optics and suppressor.
Installation
Install BepInExPack TABS 5.4.16. Copy the package's plugins/MilitaryForces
directory into BepInEx/plugins. Remove an older MilitaryForces DLL elsewhere
in that plugins directory to avoid duplicate installations.
BeeCreative and TGCore are not required. All original meshes and textures are
embedded in MilitaryForces.dll. Keep CampaignMaps next to the DLL; it contains
the two original maps and their previews.
Gameplay
The faction includes Rifleman, Scout, Assault Trooper, Machine Gunner, Heavy
Machine Gunner, Sniper, Grenadier, Anti-Tank Soldier, Shotgun Breacher, Combat
Medic, Combat Engineer, Commander, Special Forces Operator, Assault Veteran,
Special Forces Medic, Knife Thrower and Flamethrower Trooper.
Unit statistics, weapon behavior, tactical AI and campaign identifiers are
unchanged: only the visual equipment was replaced. Equipment attaches to the
native animated skeleton and does not add cosmetic colliders or change masses.
Automatic localization supports Russian, English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish,
Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Japanese and Italian. Turkish is available
with Language = tr in BepInEx/config/gribtolik1237bot.militaryforces.cfg.
Support development and early access:
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
