Controller Companion

Controller Companion allows you to use the controller to directly operate your PC. Press the left joystick to open the virtual keyboard and control it remotely while lying on the bed. You no longer need to get up to jump to the beginning or end of the movie!

Function

Even when not in game or in big screen mode, you can still use the controller to control it.

Use the controller to control your computer without leaving your couch. Control mouse, keyboard and media player. No more struggling to get up and use your mouse and keyboard to launch the game you want to play.

Control the desktop with mouse and keyboard

When Big Screen mode is not running, you can use the left stick to control the mouse and the right stick to scroll.

Press the left joystick to open keyboard input directly on the desktop, and a beautiful spiral corridor keyboard will appear.

Turn off the wireless controller when shutting down the computer

When you shut down your computer, you no longer have to remove the battery to turn off the controller. (Xbox 360 controller only)

Extremely low CPU usage

Controller Companion ensures that it resides in the background and uses as few resources as possible. As long as the big screen is running, it will disable itself.

Switch between computer and TV display

Use the handle to switch between connected monitors or TV screens.

Use the controller as a media remote

Use the handle to control your music player, using the Y button for play/pause, and the shoulder buttons for previous and next tracks.

Support Xbox 360 Chatpad

You can finally use Xbox 360 Chatpad on your PC. A custom experimental driver will let you use Chatpad when not playing any games.

• Will it work with Xbox One and wired Xbox 360 controllers?

|- Yes, it works with any XInput-enabled controller.

• Why does it stop working when playing a full screen video?

|- Controller Companion is automatically disabled when running full-screen programs, you can override this feature by holding down the Back and Start keys. See the video above about auto-disabling.

• Will running this app show my status as "Playing with Controller Companion"?

|- No! Controller Companion will launch through Steam and then run in the background.

• Do I need to run Steam to use Controller Companion?

|- No, you can even set Gamepad Companion to launch automatically when you start your computer.

• Does Controller Mate have any kind of DRM?

|- No.

• Can I use my PlayStation controller?

|- No, unless XInput Wrapper is installed.

• Is Xbox One Chatpad supported?

|- Windows 10 natively supports Xbox One Chatpad. You don't need to install the Controller Companion chatpad driver to use the Xbox One chatpad

• Can I remap an Xbox One Elite Controller?

|- No, the button functions of the Elite Controller are always consistent with their originally mapped functions. This is a Windows limitation.
