This MOD makes the game more beautiful and the graphics closer to reality
All of these images were taken in-game and are not photographed or manipulated in any way!
So wtf is this mod okay?
This mode makes the game even more beautiful, graphically immersive! Easy to install with minimal FPS loss!
I had a 2fps loss, sometimes less, you might get more or less fps loss depending on your pc and settings I guess. My computer is below the minimum specs required to play the game, so I'm pretty sure your device can handle it.
My PC specs:
GPU: GTX 750 Titanium
CPU:I3-320
Memory: 8 GB 1666MHz
feature:
- Added Bloom that interacts with the environment instead of the fake Bloom in the game.
-Added SMAA anti-aliasing for clearer visuals (especially at long distances and around foliage and trees)
- Added colormod, which can improve the color of the game and get a more enjoyable experience!
- Added ambient light for more realistic lighting
-Improve shadows
- Improved ambient occlusion (noticeable on textures)
-Improve reflection and water
-Improve color and tone of textures
- Improved lighting and light sources to better blend into the environment
So from now on, you will have a more immersive visual experience at the lowest performance cost.
Note:
The game starts by opening the mod, to close and/or open again just press the "Scroll Lock" button on your keyboard!
If you want to see the difference between the vanilla game and my mod, this will help too!
As far as I know, this mod can also be used with any other game running on Directx11, install it as follows.
Installation instructions:
Unzip "zyko's fx" and copy and paste the 3 files (reshade.fx, d3d11.dll, reshade) to the location of the original switcher3.exe.
If you downloaded the game from steam, the location will be here: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\the witcher 3\bin\x64
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
