Glowing poisonous gas
This was one of the first experimental chaos models that I originally liked and used. Recently I turned it into a glowing green fast flashing light source because in my Darker Nights setup I can barely see the damn thing outside. It also makes some cave interiors look better. I tried to add a Tesla-like lightning FX, kind of like in this video, but without the music and other extraneous stuff -
include:
- New toxic gas FX
- Glow/light source FX
DynShaSmoTor (dynamic shadow smoke torch)
include:
- Dynamic shadow casting (replaces vanilla point light shadows) - Still trying to figure out the difference between point/spotlight and dynamic shadows...
- Reduce brightness (not as good as natural torch light mode and by a completely different method)
-New smoke FX to Geralt's torch and some other torches
- Added some torch fire/smoke FX draw distance
- Increased wind effects (works best with realistic wind weather models)
serial killer sail
I made one for Rfuzzo and he offered all the help because he loves boats etc. Originally, it was a sail with a "burnt sun of war" theme, but then I realized that adding a bloodstain made it look like there was a serial killer on the loose with a very unique MO - kill people trying to board/use Geralt's ship and kill them in the exact same way, probably with the same weapon. I think Triss is definitely a suspect in this case...
include:
- sail texture
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
