About this mod Machine translation
The sword can only be sheathed or drawn manually, adjusting for new settings introduced in update 1.20.
The setting called "Manually Draw/Draw Sword" introduced in Update 1.20 has been renamed to "Manually Draw Sword". It will continue to disable auto-sheathing (including weapon switching), but allow auto-weapon drawing if not held.
Install
Extract the files into the "<path to.>Mods" folder using NMM or manually.
Run script merge to identify and resolve potential conflicts with other mods in your setup.
set up
Just activate the original game option. Its English localization has changed from "handmade sword painting/scabbard" to "handmade sword scabbard".
Known issues
The original setting name will still be displayed everywhere except English, German, French, Hungarian, Japanese, and Portuguese. You can help solve this problem by translating the small string files available in the Miscellaneous Downloads section.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
