A perfect start to the second week (level 51)

After 2000 hours of playing, I think level 51 is the best starting point for New Game Plus. So this save game is completely level 51. after all. As in level 51 and 0 XP.

  • I have absolutely no mods installed, not even a debug console. The way I played was to lower the XP per mission as much as possible and loot as much as possible in order to maximize loot and cash before reaching level 51, and stop killing when I hit level 51. Yes, the purpose of this game was to create my perfect NG+ starting point.
  • So there are 300,000 crowns to start with and a ton of loot including tons of Dimeritium Ingots and Silver Meteorite Ingots as well as crafting materials to craft those :P etc.
  • The crossbow is not equipped, so the start of NGP does not look strange.
  • All Corvo Bianco decorations and gear are hidden inside.
  • A fully upgraded Aerondight is available in inventory.
  • I have the default armor set. When you start a new game, its stats will increase. Equipped swords are good but not the best. They are outfitted because they are more aesthetically pleasing than mine. If you want to start NG+ with other gear, just craft them as I only made one gear to save cash. I put Manticore on the stash and some other armor.
  • I played the expansion twice. If you don't have the extension, I don't know if it would be a problem.

Install:

Unzip the file and place the folder named 'gamesaves' in Documents\The Witcher 3

Don't worry if you put it in a populated folder, I named the file "NGP Start L51" so it will be easier to identify all these save files.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
