Brief introduction:
I made a video tutorial on how to make a simple Witcher 3 mod and these are the files that come with the tutorial.
The tutorial itself is the video above, and the files you'll find in the files section are as follows:
- The batch files (.bat) I used during creation: Use these as the basis for your own batch files, changing the paths and filenames as needed.
- TGA image used to create this MOD. This is just the starting rig with my logo on the back.
three. Mod at the end so you can see what you should get.

How to use:
After downloading and unzipping:
- Download files
- Unzip the file into the mods folder
- Run the game
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
