Improved switcher3 is a very simple recolor preset that changes the default oversaturated colors to more natural colors. Unlike almost all other presets, this one doesn't apply any aggressive settings and changes that make the game look worse than before, nor does it break the fonts and interface. It also has a small performance cost, no more than 3 frames/second. Only color, slight contrast and gamma adjustments.
The fonts and interface remain pretty much the same, just a little darker, and the colors are affected in the same way as the graphics, they're less vibrant.
As I said before, these are very simple presets and I didn't do anything great with them. It's for all those who just need a simple preset to make the colors more natural and replace this weird "everything is orange" default gaming palette.

Install:
Extract all files into the witcher 3 directory, basically /witcher 3 wild hunt/bin/x64
F12 on/off
If you want the split screen to be the same on the screenshot, go to the reshade folder, open common_settings and set define rfx_split screen to 1. To turn on/off press F11
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
