About this mod Machine translation
Presets for ReShade v 3.0.5, focused on game colors.
This preset contains file ReShade v 3.0.5 (released November 12, 2016), stripped down to 15 algorithms from the original version 43 (loading times for all 43 algorithms are annoying).
The range of presets is to provide color tones for games, as well as other post-processing features.
The shades available are: bluish, brownish, greenish, purple, reddish, white, yellowish (my favorite is purple).
After pressing Shift + F2 (and selecting a different .ini file) different settings can be changed and ReShade activation can be toggled with Shift + F3.
Installation instructions: Copy the contents of the archive in the \bin\x64\ folder (i.e. where witcher3.exe can be found).
Uninstall: Just delete dxgi.dll (you may want to delete all other items from this mod: the reshade-shaders folder, and probably all .ini files, assuming no other mod adds .ini files).
As a note, this preset uses two types of blurs: GaussianBlur and SurfaceBlur. (For some reason I like some ambiguity in this game)
Color changes are done through ColorMatrix.
enjoy your meal.
Update: Added a stripped-down version with only 8 shaders; should be less straining on the eyes.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
