About this mod Machine translation
This is my personal reinvention. You need to install Reshade version 3.1.1 (or higher, I guess) to use shaders. Installation instructions are below.
My post-processing settings: Blurred Motion Blur - Anti-Aliased - Sharpen Ambient Occlusion On - HBAO+. After taking the photo I added a little diffuse glow: feel free to disable it, but I believe it's the cherry on the cake. Enjoy, my friends. You'll need to adjust gamma for gaming and TV, as well as contrast, most likely.
Installation instructions:
Download Reshade version 3.1.1. or from
- Run "Reshade_Setup" and follow the instructions. You migrate as well as download the effect as this will create the correct folder.
- Download Tamp’s Reshade and Shaders zip folder in the Files tab.
- Place the "Shaders" folder in the "Reshade-Shaders" folder of the main Witcher 3 directory where the .exe is located.
- Place "Tamp 2.3.ini" in the main Witcher 3 directory where the .exe is located.
- Load the game and press "Shift" and "F2" to open the Reshade menu.
- Follow the instructions in the menu and select "Tamp 2.3.ini"
- For optimal load times for forwarding, go to the second tab and select "Performance Mode."
Uninstall instructions:
Delete the following files:
- reshade-shaders
- dxgi.ini
- dxgi.dll
- dxgi.log
- Tamp 2.3.ini
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
