About this mod Machine translation

Tool that allows editing of SweetFx settings files using a simple and efficient graphical interface.

This is a tool that allows editing sweetfx settings files using a simple and efficient graphical interface. It is fully compatible with the sweetFX_settings.txt file shipped with SweetFX 2.0 Preview 8 (the last version of SweetFX). It is not compatible with any .cfg files shipped with the reshade framework.

How to use

To use, unpack the files into a new folder and run "sfxninja.exe". The program is designed to be used by associating a .txt file with it (or whatever extension is used for SFX settings files), but you don't have to do that if you don't want to.

If you do associate a .txt file with it, sfxninja.exe will be launched with the filename as a command line argument whenever the system opens a text file. The program then checks the file to see if it is a SweetFx settings file, and if so, opens the file. If not, the program transparently forwards it to the selected text editor and then exits. This allows you to automatically open sweetfx settings files using sfxninja, while also opening regular text files using a text editor.

To associate a .txt file with SweetFx Ninja, right-click on the .txt file and select "Open with -> Choose default program..."

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
