About this mod Machine translation
Allows SpawnCompanion 1.22 to work with two followers that walk/run and teleport with the player.
So I created this mod because there were 2-3 people on the form who really wanted it and it seemed simple enough. I didn't plan for it to be a full mod, but since there was a request to add more details and how to install it, here it is. Sorry, I messed up before.
This mod is an edit of the SpawnCompanion 1.22 mod, see
This mod requires a debug console mod, which works with The Witcher 3 version 1.22.
I'm currently using the Dbug control enabler.
You don't need the original mod or v1.22. This will do everything (will overwrite the original mod (if installed) since the path/name is the same)
Install
automatic
I personally recommend using mod manager. Give it a path to the game and let it figure it out. There are several reasons for this. It's much faster and easier than doing it manually. 2When you uninstall the mod (like you really want to, right? =D) then click a button and it's done. 3. When you uninstall a mod, there is a small chance that important things in the game will be deleted.
do this
- Download the NexusMod Manager client.
- Find the mod in the list
- Link enabled (if an older version is installed, you must answer yes to override)
Congratulations on installing the mod! ! ! !
Manual
For those of you who really like it, here are the steps.
- Download the .zip file and unzip it, you will see a folder called "modSpawnCompanions"
- Find your Witcher 3 game files (if it's on Steam, it might look like C:SteamSteamApps.TheWitcher3)
- Find the Mods file, create it if it doesn't exist (i.e. if you haven't added the mod yet) - it should exist as you will need the debug console for this mod to work
- Drag and drop the modSpawnCompanions file into the Mods folder
Congratulations on having the mod and completing it the hard way! ! ! ! !
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
